I think I remember a story where Blair goes on an expedition with Dr. Stoddard, where he comes down with Dengue Fever.  The expedition is captured, and when they pull out, Blair is too sick to travel, and is left behind.  Jim meets up with Stoddard, and thoroughly outs himself as a Sentinel to Stoddard while they search for Blair.  Jim's secret ( Read more... )

1)  I read this fic a long time ago - way back when I first started to read in this fandom.

Jim was a unicorn shapeshifter and Blair was some type of wizard.  I remenber it was a WIP and the author also wrote other fantasy au's.
